  1. Gus says:

I can't ever remember a Rays series in St. Louis. Looking forward to this one -- a team built like the Rays in some ways, flourishing when the big money free agents (Pujols, Crawfor and Upton) scuffle under the big $.

Odorizzi has been of the quiet good news stories of the years. Emerging into something good here.

  2. Bryan says:

I don't know if the game graph against the Yankmees was purposeful. However, the stretch to 6 straight wins results in us catching the White Sox. We are now 2 games behind the royals (The next of the mini-races for the wild card). Cork, you are doing a great job covering this awkwardly pivotal moment in rays history. Keep up the unique analysis. It is nearly impossible to believe that with good pitching and luck, we could be at 0.500 in less than a week. There are only 7 games before the deadline. How many do you think we have to win for the front office not to authorize a fire sale?
