Playing A Little Pepper

Desmond Jennings has been activated from the bereavement list…Jake Odorizzi takes the mound looking for his third straight strong start. After his last start, we took a look at what has changed and it appears that he is no longer tipping his pitches as his release point for his fastball and changeup suddenly look a lot more alike.

  1. Rob says:

Ugh - It sure is hard to score runs when you build in 9+ outs with Guyer, Forsythe and Molina in the lineup. The Rays are basically playing with 18 outs instead of 27.

    • Skateman says:

Longoria and Myers have been terrible too. So the chance of a an actual run is basically zero. I wouldn't let Derek Shelton teach my 10 year old how to hit.

  2. Rob says:

Rays have to go 71-47 (.606) the rest of the year to reach 90 wins.
