Playing A Little Pepper

Desmond Jennings has been placed on the bereavement list due to a death in his family. He is expected to return for Tuesday’s game in Oakland. Kevin Kiermaier was called up to take his spot for today and tomorrow and is in the lineup for tonight’s game…Ryan Hanigan grabbed his right hamstring running out a ground ball last night. He initially stayed in the game, but was eventually pulled with either a cramp or a mild strain. He is not in the lineup tonight.

  1. Dave L says:

Rays righty lineup is never as impressive as the lefty one.

And this is the 'B' team of the righties for sure.

The Angels veteran #2? starter Wilson v. Ramos who if we get healthy is likely headed back to the pen full time.

The odds say we lose right?

Thats the beauty of baseball. I dunno where the runs will come from but I still feel good about this one.

Yeah, it doesn't look good on paper does it? But as they say, "That's why they play the games".

Myers and Longlorious are both waaaay overdue to breakout with some power, and we all know that either one can carry the team if they catch fire. Now would be as good a time as any.

Watching Hanigan grab that hammy may have been about as heartbreaking as finding out Cobber was headed to the DL... I hope beyond hope it's nothing big or the Rays are stuck with SloMo and ??... which is nightmare inducing.
