Playing A Little Pepper

ESPN has picked up 2 upcoming Rays games. The 4th of July game in Detroit and the July 6 game, also in Detroit. Unfortunately for the Rays, the second game was originally a Sunday afternoon game and will now be the Sunday Night Baseball game which will start at 8:00 eastern time. The Rays will have to fly home after the game and will have a game the next night against the Royals…The Rays have already signed 7 of their top 11 draft picks.

    Bedard vs their hitters and Wacha vs batters seems to be a mismatch.

    Young Wacha is a reverse righty in that RHB fare batter in terms of average and power. Maybe none of that matters at this point until the dam breaks.

    The DVR has come in handy this year for speeding up the games and breezing through some of the meltdowns. Its the best invention ever for sports viewing.
