Brandon Gomes[UPDATE] Game has been postponed. Buck Showalter told the media that a straight double-header for tomorrow is possible.

Playing A Little Pepper

Tonight’s game will almost certainly be delayed and it looks like there is a good chance it will be canceled. THIS LINK has a GIF for a radar that shows it will be raining non-stop from 6:00 until at least 9:00 at Camden Yards…If the game is played, Brandon Gomes will make the start in place of Jake Odorizzi, who is battling the flu. It had been thought that Enny Romero would be called up, but he is starting for the Durham Bulls tonight.

  1. Dave L says:

Maddon told Duemig on WDAE today around 5pm, the Wed. doubleheader was out as it was a getaway day for both teams and a June date is likely.

JoeMa the weatherman also observed the map and declared the game unplayable in the same inteview.

That's his opinion which isn't MLB law but he expresses it as if it should be as always is his wont.

  2. Rob says:

We'll still score the same amount of runs.

    • wealthmony says:

That's exactly what we scored-----the same amount of runs------which cannot be counted on either hand (-0-).

Given conditions I would expect the problem with this team to be pitching. Instead, it's hitting.
