It wasn’t a save, but Fernando Rodney fired his first arrow with the Mariners and his teammates completely ignored him.

Aaron Giddens of BRaysball Talk first brought this to our attention and it is a bit funny, but also possibly worrisome for Rodney.

It is believed that one of the reasons that Rodney thrived with the Rays was because his teammates were so accepting of his bizarre behavior and he never felt like an outcast.

With the Rays, Carlos Pena was the first to engage in the post-game celebration with Rodney (possibly at the encouragement of Joe Maddon). It then became a community effort, that peaked with the Dominican team at the World Baseball Classic.

Poor Honey Badger. Let’s hope he still doesn’t care.

We still love you, Fernando.

I think I'm going to cry. This won't end well.

    Wow - that's cold.

In other Rays alumni news, BJ Upton is 1-12 with 6 SOs.

  3. This made me laugh at first and then cry, I had to point it out to you, Cork, and the rest of the Rays fans.

Luke Scott is 2 for 17 in the Korean league for a .143 avg with 3 walks. One was a HR at least
