Here are a few links to get the week started

  • The Hillsborough County Commission will meet with the Rays on Jan. 24. The Pinellas County Commission will meet with the Rays on Jan. 29. As Noah Pransky points out, the most telling point from these meetings is that both counties continue to have their own agendas and nobody is working together for a solution. [Shadow of the Stadium]
  • As a follow-up on Mike Morse, Ken Rosenthal says he “makes sense” for the Red Sox. [Fox Sports]
  • It’s Development Camp week at the Trop. Which for many of us will mean for the first time we should start seeing some pictures this week of some of the Rays top prospects in Rays gear. []
  • Mitch Lukevics doesn’t think Performance Enhancing Drugs are a widespread problem in the Rays’ system, but says the six suspensions in 2012 were “very disappointing.” []
  • Anybody want to have dinner with David Price? OK, not with Price. But in the same building at the same time. [Tampa Bay Rays]
  • O/T, but have you seen the video of the wheelchair-bound fan that stormed the court at NC State? [BI Sports]
  • Ron Cooper wasn’t fired, but he was. [JoeBucsFan]
