  1. don says:

Price ought to start thinking about how he is going to beat Toronto, instead of their attendance, He already twitted about Rays attendance a couple years ago...Lets see how many people he gets to one of his games to see a cy young winner...
Silverman is smart 10min drive, from stadium, wonder how Price likes those 1hr. drives home to tampa in rush hour or midnight after games..He could be living in a $1MIL condo downtown St. Pete overlooking the beautiful Bay...

  2. J 2.0 says:

Cubs sign Carlos Villanueva to $10 million over 2 years. Looks like Carmona is coming in under market value.

  3. Gus says:

Welcome to Snell Isle, Matty S. Always nice when management from out-of-town puts down any roots. I never liked when the Glazers were renters, not owners.

  4. phil says:

They need farnsworth for depth ....Rodeny,Peralta, McGee, Farnsworth, Gomes, Ramos and Carmona (Roberto Hernadez).

“We might need more fabric softener in the towels.”
    – Rays manager Joe Maddon, on pitcher David Price injuring himself by toweling off too vigorously

  6. Joe says:

It's funny, I still remember when JP said he "owed everything to the Rays" after giving him a chance when he was terrible as a SP and after he got hurt but it always does come down to money so its no shock.
