Earlier we looked at the longest home runs hit at Tropicana Field this season. But how do those compare to other long home runs? Here are the longest home runs since the start of the 2006 as calculated by ESPN’s True Distance metric.

First the longest home run hit by a member of the Rays was this shot by Gabe Gross (Gabe Gross, people!) in 2008 off of Edward Mujica. It traveled 466 feet (if the first video isn’t working for you, CLICK HERE)…

But that was still not as long as this home run by Juan Miranda of the Yankees off of Dale Thayer (‘Stache!) in 2009. It traveled 469 feet…
