Playing A Little Pepper

Should the Rays trade for Alfonso Soriano if the Cubs are willing to pay most of the $45 million left on his deal through the 2014 season?

Soriano is obviously not the hitter he used to be and he is not good defensively (although his defense is not as bad as some would have you believe). But he is still a 25 home run, .350 wOBA (that’s good) hitter. I would love to see Soriano with the Rays as a right-handed DH, 4th outfielder. But at what cost? The more the Cubs pay, the more the Rays will have to give up in prospects. Are you willing to give the Cubs back Hak-Ju Lee or Chris Archer? Because that might be what it takes…IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT, THEN ABSOLUTELY
