Matt Moore missed another batting practice session yesterday (via Marc Topkin of Joe Maddon continues to poo-poo any thoughts that this is a cause for concern…

“It’s an over-conservative thing we’re doing right now,” Maddon said. “I really believe the next day or two, he should be fine.”

Maddon and pitching coach Jim Hickey also continue to sing the praises of Matt Bush. Maddon called Bush “impressive to watch.” And Hickey added that Bush can “miss bats with the best of them.”

    Speaking of Luke Scott -- I just saw his photo among the team pictures. What is with his facial hair? Are those really long sideburns or a beard with a swath cut away so his chin can breathe?
