Centrplate, the company that runs the food services at Tropicana Field for the Rays has hired a new chef. Marc Spooner previously made a name for himself when he appeared on an episode of the Food Network’s “Chopped” (you can see his show profile here). He finished first on that episode. Spooner, the new Executive Chef at The Trop, will oversee “culinary operations and menu development” for all of the “hospitality areas” at the stadium.
