    I don't see how someone can simultaneuously defend the lack of attendance at Rays games and bash the front office for a low payroll. The two inevitably go hand in hand.

    Soriano is only a few years removed from surgery. The Yanks are making a huge risk signing him to that kind of deal. I thought 3 years at 25-27 million sounded more reasonable.
