  1. Don says:

Maddon: Aybar is a "Professional Hitter".......
May I add, much more so than Burrell (at this time) and for that matter,
better than most of the Rays...but..Pinewood here sits Willie!
Plus whoever said he was/is a second baseman?

  2. Ben says:

This would be my opening day lineup:

    R - Bartlett - SS
    L - Crawford - LF
    R - Longoria - 3B
    L - Pena - 1B
    S - Zobrist - 2B
    L - Joyce - RF
    R - Shoppach - C
S - Aybar - DH (Burrell if he performs well in Spring Training)
    R - Upton - CF

    • Don says:

Still like Zo batting 3rd to set things up for Longo (rbis)... plus he can sacrifice for Burrell/CC to advance bases....
Burrell will start at DH even if he doesn't get a hit in spring training...
The embarrassment factor comes into play for management that signed him...I'm hoping for midseason switch to Willie!
Thoughts of Joyce/Kaplar in RF is a nightmare....

  3. Jason W says:

The only guys Maddon will let reach 200+ innings is Sheilds and Garza. He's so afraid Price and Davis's arms are going to fall off if they throw more than 6 innings.I was honestly suprised to see Davis get a 7 and 9 inning start.
