The GBT – The Good, The Bad and The Telling sandwich, where The Bad is nice and lean and the The Telling is ripe. THE GOOD: Jeff Niemann. The Giraffe uncharacteristically struggled with his pitch count, having to be pulled after 6 innings with 107 pitches. Still, he improved to […]

If Joe didn’t have to get up at 5 a.m. for that nasty four-letter word called “work,” he’d be raising an adult beverage to toast the Rays 3-2 win over the Red Sux Tuesday at the Fruitdome. Trust Joe, he’s happy, but concerned. Once again the Rays showed they have […]

The GBT – The Good, The Bad and The Telling sandwich, where The Bad is nice and lean and the The Telling is ripe. THE GOOD: John Jaso. Recently, any time the Rays would get the bases loaded with no outs, our initial reaction has been “oh crap.” But JJ […]

Here is an interview with Rafael Soriano that took place before a recent game. The interview itself is not important (it’s in Spanish), but if you forward to about the 35-second mark you will see MFIKY almost crack a smile. Almost. We’re convinced the next time he does smile, it […]

For those of you that were already tucked away in bed during the 9th inning of last night’s game, you missed this disturbing scene in the Rays bullpen. That is bullpen coach Bobby Ramos sitting between the legs of Rafael Soriano. It appeared as though Soriano was giving Ramos a […]
