Kevin Kiermaier had another huge throw to help preserve the win on Thursday night.

With the Rays nursing a 2-1 lead and runners on first and second with two outs, Ichiro Suzuki hit a single up the middle. Kiermaier charged hard, and with the momentum of his body behind the throw, delivered his signature slice perfectly to home plate to nail the runner, end the inning, and keep the Rays in front.

MLB later unleashed their StatCast on the throw and determined the ball reached 100 mph just out of the hand of Kiermaier.

What, no tail on the throw?

Great season KK. Amazing how many games he impacted/changed from CF. Last night just another in a long list. Preserved the win for Ordirizzi.

I don't think the slice is a big deal. Clearly the Outlaw has learned to account for it.

Try and convince Cork of that. Jason's short rest comment (below) wins comment of the year honors.

I think the problem with Kk's slice is that he is throwing on short rest.

Hey Cork haven't you learned that KK is like Caesars wife to your loyal peanut gallery? Knock it off!

Either genuflect or have the courtesy and common decency of remaining silent please......
