Jerry Sands has a wrist injury and may be headed to the DL, telling media he will be out at least 2 weeks. No roster move has been made yet…We bashed Jose Molina’s hitting a little bit this morning. Here is one more stat without dwelling on it too much. Molina is on pace for 246 plate appearances and a .339 OPS. The last time a player had even 200 plate appearances with an OPS under .350 was 1912…The Rays invited a female high school knuckball pitcher to throw batting practice. She hit Evan Longoria with a pitch.
