  1. Dean says:

    Bell DFA; Karns recalled.

    • Rob says:

Wow. They actually pulled the trigger. One more to go. They are still on the hook for his $5.5m. What a disaster. This might be as bad as The Pat Burrell acquisition. Apparently Maddon said they see upside in Leuke and that's why Bell was released and Leuke is still here. How they couldn't see that Bell was a mess is beyond me. Not sure what they were thinking with this one.

  2. Dave L says:

All bullpens are suspect if you have to ask them to do too much. Dont expect swapping out Durham arms for who we have now to change much as far as wins and losses go. The Rays worked Bell like a rented mule he had more innings than everyone but Lueke and he just was shell shocked, he never seemed to get any confidence. Thanks Heath for that one wild extra inning affair, that was about the only time you had a positive effect on a game.

His role was involved in more leverage situations than Lueke and based on Luekes few appearences in which the game was in the balance (3) and failure in them i would expect him to keep his role as garbage man (12).

JC Oviedo and should take up most of Bells work. Is Karns going to be a long reliever? Hes only started in Durham. I hope they give him a chance at starting for us.

Our problem isnt our pen its our starters. I hope everyone recognizes that.

Can Odorizzi get it figured out? Innings 1-3 he looks like 2011 James Shields after that he instantly morphs into 2011 Sonnanstine

  3. Frantman2 says:

Alex Torres would look pretty good in that bullpen right now.
