Playing A Little Pepper

Ben Zobrist gets his first start of the season at shortstop today with Sean Rodriguez in the lineup at second base. Zobrist has played 3 innings at short this season…By the end of this afternoon’s game, the Rays will have played 41 innings 51 hours. At least I hope that is all they will play…The Rays have now played 13 games (7-6) in their navy road “alternate” jersey and three games (0-3) in their actual road jersey (grey).

Watched the entire game last night. Great win. Anyone else notice that Bell kept licking his hand and the going to his mullett after every pitch? Surprised the activity on here is so light after three huge wins. Is it because it’s the weekend or do we only post when there is something to gripe about?

    Leuke has to go.

They say Leuke has great stuff. I wouldn’t know. They also say havin’ great stuff isn’t enough. You’ve got to know when and where to place it. I wouldn’t know. You gotta feel for the Rays pitching staff right now. It’s not very good. Either the bats save them or they go down.

The Rapist needs to go. Even though he’s on the Rays, I route for him to fail and thankfully, he does. Get rid of him so I can support the full team again.
