As of right now, it is not raining in Chicago, but there is rain coming. The good news is as of now, radar makes it look like there might be a slight delay to the start of the game  and then there is about a one-hour window before another round of heavy rain that might delay the game 30-60 minutes. So they should be able to get the game in, but it might take a awhile to finish.

Maybe Odorizzi just needs 3 or 4 strong...McGee comes in, we make it through 5 innings the skies open up, Noah builds an ark and we sail out of Chicago

LOL, my mother used to say "if wishes were horses, beggars would ride". Well, we're begging so sail or ride out with a win works for me.

Simian was batting .172 when he faced Balfour Friday night. Since then his average has skyrocketed. Ordorizzi cannot seem to find a way to handle batters the 2nd and 3rd time they see him. 78 pitches in 4 innings won't cut it. Rienzo, meanwhile looking stronger. BA and DeWayne have already capitulated. WTF.

When Odorizzi is pitching they should save some time and just start every batter out with a 3-1 count.

Rob, note that the Cardinals sent down Kolten Wong, a highly regarded prospect, and another prospect to amp up their line-up. Your suggestions of the other day making more sense by the day. Gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.
