Joe Maddon was ejected this afternoon for the fourth time this season and the 31st time in his career. This came after a called third strike against David DeJesus appeared to be high. Well, according to Maddon, it was “way up, it was WAYYYYY UP.”

Maddon’s four ejections is one shy of the MLB lead. Three managers have been ejected five times this season. The ejection was also the seventh for the Rays this season. The Dodgers lead MLB with 12 ejections.
