Check out the glove-flip by Yunel Escobar. So easy. So perfect (you can see the full video at the bottom of this post)…

One more look…

And here is David Price’s reaction…

And if you prefer video with audio…

  1. KT says:

Absolutely amazing, and his game ending leaping snag wasn't too shabby either!

  2. Scot says:

Jerry Remy, former 2nd baseman, was nearly speechless on this play. He pointed out that usually these type of tosses from the shortstop end up anywhere, but Escobar's was placed at the right height for the grab from Z and the toss to first. Remy, who is less likely to hand out bravados, was clearly impressed.

And Dwayne "I don't understand" Staats should either learn to SHUT-UP or be replaced. We don't need to constant description of the play. There is a reason why Vin Scully is considered the best.

    • Marc says:

Well then go watch Dodger games then. I didn't have a problem with Staats but then again, everyone has personal tastes.

    • Mr. Smith 1980 says:

Staats is one of the best. You're way off-line in your criticism of his style.

  3. Roger M says:

Besides the actual play itself I love listening to the crowd. They are like woahhhhh
