Playing A Little Pepper

Sometimes as fans we get a little too caught up in how many games back the Rays are in the standings. Ultimately, what is more important is just making sure the Rays take care of their own business and hope it turns out well in the end. With two Wild Cards, that means getting to 22 games over .500 (92-70). If they do that, there is a very good chance they’ll be in the playoffs.

As we can see, the Rays put themselves in a bit of hole early on and they are still playing catch up. They are currently six games over .500, which means they are about three games below where they need to be…

Here's what I would do if I'm maddon. As soon as Archer starts to fade, hopefully late in the game I would start warming up Kyle F. Situation permitting if Salty comes to the plate have him drill him in the back. It may take a few pitches as his control is iffy of course.

Lobaton would just fold his arms and say go get him tough guy.

I think that's why SRod was brought in to pinch run the other nite. To blow up Salty if he got the chance.

He was just as much to blame as fake tough guy AL pitcher Lackey.

Sorry if that went over your head.
