Stephen Vogt went 0-25 with the Rays last season before being traded to the A’s shortly before this season began. He was then recently called up by the A’s (where he is now teammates with John Jaso) and went 0-7 before finally picking up his first big league hit, and boy did he make it a big one, hitting a home run in the fourth inning.

But maybe the best moment comes in the dugout when his teammates gave him the silent treatment before unleashing a jubilant celebration for a guy that most accounts portray as one of the true good guys in baseball.

Congrats, Mr. Vogt. May it be the first of many…

Not sure what spelling you were referring to, but Vogt's first name is "Stephen," not "Steven." Ironic, right?
