The Rays will be in Houston, and as part of MLB’s “Stars and Stripes” program, here is the cap the Rays will wear (via Uni-Watch.com).

If you go to this link, you will see that home teams are wearing white caps and road teams are wearing grey caps. It will be interesting to see if the Rays wear their grey jerseys for this game. Typically, they wear their navy jerseys during day games on the road…

Interesting that the new caps coming out this year are going to these fitted mesh caps, I got the new burst cap in spring training (not in the recent promotional push), and noticed that it was a little tighter, and took a little more time to break-in, a good cap though, i'll probably end up with this one as well...lol

By all means, let's roll out a special cap that has to be worn by everyone in a sport where 30% of the players are not US citizens. I am tired of all the false patriotism in US sports, including the silly addition of God Bless America in the 8th inning following 9/11. I am a patriotic person by nature but don't feel forcing these things at public events is needed. Sing the national anthem, have fireworks after the game, and give free or reduced tickets to service personnel and veterans. That's patriotism, not stopping the game to sing an Irving Berlin show tune or wearing a special cap that costs $30.

They're cool, though I like the Indians hat, and though it doesn't have the US flag look, the Blue Jays hat might be the nicest...
