Playing A Little Pepper

The Rays’ current 6-game winning streak is the longest in the majors. Of course, if the bullpen hadn’t blown any leads in the 20 games before that they would be riding a 26-game winning streak. The Rays are also the first team since 2011 (Rockies) to win six straight come-from-behind games…Matt Moore is the first AL lefty under the age of 24 to start the season 7-0 since Babe RuthJames Loney, who leads the AL in hitting will start against Jon Lester tonight. His glove has earned him the everyday nod. And so far he is hitting lefties well, albeit in a small sample (11-23).
