Playing A Little Pepper

After one game, what is a bigger concern, Jake McGee or the offense?

Jake McGee will be fine. He was a little too fastball-happy as all 21 of his pitches were fastballs. Normally he will throw about 85% fastballs. On the other hand, the offense has issues. Normally, four runs with David Price on the mound are going to be enough. But those four runs felt like a lot for a lineup that is missing both Luke Scott and Wil Myers. Once both of those bats finally join the lineup, it will add protection for Evan Longoria and Ben Zobrist and slot the rest of the guys down a couple of spots. Next thing you know, the lineup has 6-7 solid bats instead of four…OFFENSE

Why is Johnson playing first after the nice game Looney had over there defensively yesterday? I get that Johnson has even splits, but he only played 12 innings at first in Spring Training.
