Joe is back with his postgame thoughts…

Well, that 8-3 Rays win sure feels good, huh?

You know what else feels good? It seems Rays ace David Price may have turned the corner. He didn’t have the greatest of starts but for a few innings in the middle of the game, Price simply mowed through the White Sox order making some decent hitters look like minor leaguers. He had control, command and velocity. A nice troika there.

Of course, he got a bit of luck on insurance runs. After battling Jesse Crain, Brian Roberts and his ugly neck tat floated a catchable ball to right only to see Alex Rios close on the ball (with Price caught by cameras yelling “Get down!”) only to drop the dying quail, which allowed two Rays runs.

Timely offense and the return of an actual Cy Young Award winner. Joe thinks he just may have a beer on that.

Good to see Price back to his old form. Hopefully for the summer, too.

Watching the Kalas - Price interview and Price was a total a-hole to him. I get that he is frustrated and is tired of the questions, but he doesn't have to cop an attitude over it.

Just watched the Hallion-Price conflict and can understand why Price was irritable after the game. That said, he still shouldn't take it out on Kalas.
