Up 2-0 in the in the bottom of the 8th with a runner on third base and just one out, the Rangers hit a flyball to right field. Ben Zobrist made a beautiful throw home to double-up the runner. And notice the perfect block-and-tag by Jose Lobaton. Great play all around…

What the heck happened to the game????? I was watching it on SunSports on DVR and they left for commercial at the end of the 2nd and never came back? It changed to some talkshow. Anyone else have this problem?

You must have DirecTV. For some reason they cut away from the game. Sun Sports tried to get it fixed, but never got a good explanation.

Mr Smith when the glacier dust cleared in Arlington The Rays were left standing.

As you and I both advised yesterday the season is young. The Al East is populated with 5 talented yet flawed teams. We are one of them. Our flaws are glaring and jarring. Our talent is young and unproven and in many cases failed so far frankly. The AL East will be a joyous civil war like bloodbath. An d we have as good a chance as any, but not better not worse. May the best team win.

But you know what? Given the situation I am willing to shove my chips in behind these guys.

We had a 3 game tailspin. So what. It wont be the last. Later we will have 4, or more. Thats the game.

All you Rays fans who say make whole sale changes... well screw you.

This is the 2013 Rays get used to it. Changes will be incremental. Myers will arrive when hes good and ready. Archer too. RH/FC belongs here.

I like our chances. If you dont and you think you are smarter than AF.... guess what? You arent. Hes not perfect but he's brought 90 win Ball to us and we like it.

        Indeed.

Good points all the way around. There is no doubt that the AL East will cannibalize itself this year, which makes the chances of an AL wildcard coming from the East less likely than we Rays' fans would care to admit.

Sounds like frustration in the optimistic world of Fairy land.....
Heres the Real story: Rays beat Bad teams (cleveland ) 2out of 3
They lose to good teams (Baltimore/Texas) 2 out of three.....
How many wins is that for the year 50% is 80 wins, more than that..
They will have to improve alot
