We’ve got the highlights you won’t see on SportsCenter…
Hey Cork there are no pics!?!?!?
Oy! It’s fixed now. Thanks!
Getting used to that Jennings “WHO me?’ smirk, If he comes out of his shell &, little better than .240 hitting… could be the CF star that this team always tried to make out BJ Upton to be…..didn’t work….but Now….maybe?
I would like to take back something I said the other day.
Even If the Rays had revenue streams of the Roman empire and Paul Alllen’s propensity to spend it, I am happy with the Rays decision to pick up Hernandez and stick him in the rotation.
I take back saying I would rather have Archer there right now after looking at his numbers.
In 4 starts Archer is 2-0 with a 4.05 era sure thats nice. But according to Neil Solandz he never made it past the 5th inning yet due to high pitch counts in each start. I dont know where to get Bullls pitch counts online but I’ll take his word for it.
The Rays have done a stupendous job in developing young pitchers. They do it gradually and have milestones we are not aware of they need to achieve.
Archer and Odorizzi barely have 1 year total of AAA starts under their belts.
I will trust their judgment on this one. I’m back all in with Fausto for now. This is only his seventh start since 2011. And Niemann actually required surgery for medical reasons, not to cover the Rays decision to pick him up.
I think Solandz is wrong. I believe I heard the Rays have been capping Archer at 5 innings regardless of pitch count to keep his innings down in case they need him in the bigs this year because of injury or total failure by one of the starters.
He hasn’t made it past the 5th cause they are only allowing him 5 innings to limit his load so when they call him up later this season. you think neil would know this….
