We’ve got the highlights you won’t see on SportsCenter…
That arrow-firing was definitely out of obligation, he was not happy, and that unhappiness was exasperated by the fact that no teammates came to track the arrow with him.
Rodney really wears his heart on his sleeve.
KF was being given a chance to close out the game but when the first batter in the ninth got a hit they pulled him quick.
When I saw Rodneys demeanor i thought oh no this guy really doesnt want to be here. But regardless he sucked it up and did his job so thats all we can ask.
After the game in the conga line when Rodney got to Farnsworth his face lit up and he gave him a hug. Farnsworth not exactly being a warm and fuzzy guy seemed startled and didnt really complete the man hug back. But it was a nice gesture and good to see Rodney smile after all that brooding.
See if you can find that screen cap Cork it was pretty cool.
His issues may be totally unrelated to baseball much less the Rays. Hope he works it out whatever it is. I think the bullpen is starting to come together.
He may feel he is under appreciated and underpaid…but who doesn’t on the Rays?…. Longo’s $100 mil is in the bank if he never gets another hit…so he’s stupid?…really?…..Rodney has to work for his NEXT contract…Zobrist’s next $10 mil yr…wanta make a bet…
