Wins and losses in spring training mean little. But that doesn’t mean you should celebrate catching the ball from a walk-off home run that beats your team…
The more imporant thing is that the last two games — Sarasota and Clearwater (and presumably in Bradenton and Dunedin) — the Rays have been treated like the home team and have the crowd on their side. This is good long-term for building the fan base.
The Rays will set their modern (post-Naimoli) attendance record in 2013.
