Below is a look at the 150 games that will be broadcast by Sun Sports this season. In addition to these games, five games will be televised on Fox (4/13 at Boston, 5/18 at Baltimore, 6/29 vs Detroit, 7/6 vs White Sox, 8/10 @ Dodgers) and two games will air on Fox Sports Florida  (4/27 at the White Sox, 5/30 at Miami). That leaves five games that won’t be on television as of now.

Interestingly, the Fox Sports press release mentioned that all the usual faces and voices will be returning. However, they did not list a replacement for Laura McKeeman who left for a more national role with Fox Sports. I have been told that the details on her replacement are still being worked out (click on image for a larger version)…

The calendar displayed shows only 149 games airing on SUN Sports with the 4/27 White Sox game confirmed as airing on FS Florida. The 5/30 game at Miami will have the Marlins announcers (The Rays broadcasts for 5/27 and 5/28 will be exclusive to South Florida). That leaves six games not scheduled to air locally

    6/23 @ NY Yankees
    7/7 Chicago White Sox
    7/11 Minnesota
    8/11 @ LA Dodgers
    8/31 @ Oakland
    9/14 @ Minnesota

The 6/23, 7/7 and 8/11 games are likely held for a possible ESPN Sunday Night broadcast (I don’t think ESPN will pick up the 6/23 game since they want to air as many Yankees-Red Sox games as they can). SUN Sports will pick up those games if ESPN passes and black out previously scheduled games instead. TV schedule subject to change.

Do we really need a McKeeman replacement? What void did she fill that Kalas couldn’t? (other than her tits)

Don’t see much in exciting weekend stuff….. KC, Shields, davis,ej maybe a standout weekend, yankees(old hat)…
Tor. is the best team but no respect in tampabay, 2x world champions and Buster Posey could be fun… LA mid week, ok ….but no Fan respect here……
Never thought KC would be a highlite for the 2013 season

Those w/Brighthouse Sports Pak can see the Yankees game on YES if not picked up by anyone else. Negative will be hearing the NY broadcast team & their bias!! Oh, wait that’ll be the same as if ESPN picks it up!!

In years past, some games were broadcast by both ESPN/MLB & SunSports, yet leaving some games w/no local coverage :( Will this be happening again? Sure hope not, b/c the redundancy is FRUSTRATING when other games are left out!!!
