Here is James Shields and Wade Davis being introduced this morning to the Royal media. Notice that Shields is wearing #24 (for now) as #33 is currently worn by Jeremy Guthrie and Davis is wearing #22 as #40 is worn by reliever Kelvin Herrera. So no more “WD40″ for Big Dub. As for Shields, he said that he and Guthrie are “gonna have to talk about it,” when asked about his number…

Funny. When Shields was a Ray you had nothing but good things to say about him. Oh wait, no you didn’t.

But Davis ought to be WD40… You’d think he could have bought #40 off a 1-year bullpen guy like Kelvin Herrera…
