Back in May when the Atlanta Braves visited The Trop, BJ Upton hit a hard line drive that went off the shin of Chipper Jones (see video below). Jones managed to stay in the game, a feat that seems even more remarkable now that we see the damage it caused.
Here is a picture Chipper released via his Twitter account with the caption “Y’all remember that line drive from Bj Upton I took off the ankle this year? Be glad I left the bandage on!!! Yuck!”…
He stayed in the game! Chipper was eventually pulled for a pinch-hitter in the 8th inning and missed the rest of the series.

My respects to Mr. Chipper.
The grossest part of that picture is easily the bunion on his right foot. My god, it’s almost at a 90-degree angle. Horrible.
