It’s a slow news day in the Raysiverse, and let’s face it, I’m getting giddy about the Bucs. And because the Bucs won this weekend, we can look back on this play and laugh.
Check out the block delivered by Jamon Meredith on a crucial third-and-short situation in the first half. Not only does Meredith block a teammate, he finished the block and drove him into the ground. Do you think he gets credit for a pancake? And on top of that, Meredith knocked Nate Byham off of his guy. And it was that defender that made the tackle, stopping Doug Martin short and costing the Bucs a timeout on the challenge.
Worst. Block. Ever. Me thinks somebody is getting fined by the Kangaroo Court in the clubhouse.
