We’re not at must-win levels yet. But the Rays are in a world of trouble if they lose this game and both the Yankees and Angels win their games. The Rays would then be 3 games back in the Wild Card and the Angels would be closer. In short, if the Rays do not win at least 3 of the next 5, it could be lights out…NOT YET

No Des? Big trouble.
Seems like a head scratcher of a lineup. No DJ even though he says he is ready. Molina again. Francisco with a RHP, why not Fuld ? His energy and defense are better and needed. And last, but least K-Los at first.
I am honestly starting to wonder is Pena has a vision problem. He is starting to miss balls at first both off the bat and pickoff attempts like tonight. Add to that his high strikeout rate and I really think he needs to have his vision corrected. I am not joking.
There is some strong evidence of that. But I think he just took his eyes off the pick off throw. Regardless, he should be relegated to ph status at best.
