Joe is back with his postgame thoughts….

Only four more to go to complete the miracle!

You knew it was a special day when B.J. Upton slaps a key RBI single the other way. The Rays got the job done early and often in Chicago this afternoon, making All-Star starter Chris Sale look like Andy Sonnanstine.

Joe was delighted by numerous professional at bats for the good guys. On Jeff Keppinger’s two-run, third-inning bomb, it was as if he measuring and turning on the inside pitch before it left Sale’s hand.

Joe must be an optimist, so Joe’s especially pleased that Matt Moore got to build desperately needed confidence opening with 4 1/3 perfect innings today. Moore was coming off four ugly outings in September, and he’d be in line to start the Wild Card game or a Wild Card tiebreaker next week.

Of course, the Rays need a win and a Baltimore loss Sunday to have a shot to sweep Baltimore next week and force a Wild Card tiebreaker.

But with David Price getting the ball tomorrow, Joe’s confident the dream will find it’s way to Monday at the Trop.
