This post, which will appear before every game, will include starting lineups (when we learn them) and during the game will include a Game Graph that will constantly update the percent chance the Rays have of winning this particular game.
Playing A Little Pepper…
Johnny Damon was Designated For Assignment today by the Indians. Now that the Hideki Matsui experiment has passed, is there any chance the Rays take a flyer on Johnny Dangerously?
I’m sure the Rays have Damon on speeddial, but the last thing the Rays need right now is a DH. Assuming (and this is a big assumption) Evan Longoria does come back sometime next week and will be the DH 4-5 days per week, where is Luke Scott playing? He’s not going to play 1B. And the Rays already have 4 outfielders, and that doesn’t include Ben Zobrist. So while we miss Damon’s personality, don’t look for a reunion unless somebody get hurt…HIGHLY UNLIKELY

Please no. We met our quota of 1 over the hill lefty for the year and I’m trying to be optimistic that we will have too many DH’soon.
Gone til’ Nov. (?), I haven’t seen anything that says he’s not coming back, do yenz know something, or are yenz joking? Yenz had me paranoid, what a badly picked song, if not…
Go Rays!, let’s sweep the O’-for’s-
RAys will never take Damon back, he nailed Friedman real good before he left “he said the FO did not address their problems in the off season, Kotchman& Him was not their problem they needed production from a SS & a catcher” turns out he was right making friedman look bad….again
