Joe is back with his post-game thoughts….

They say baseball teams take on the personality of their manager, which means Joe Maddon needs to see a psychiatrist immediately or needs to be blessed for his legitimate one-game-at-a-time, absolute-faith approach.

Who the hell knows what the hell is going on with this version of Rays madness.

Drive fans insane with dreadful hitting but stellar pitching, then win seven straight out of nowhere, then have your bats die instantly with miserable losses including getting on the wrong end of a 1-0 perfect game, and then bounce back with a 7-0 shutout in Anaheim this morning.

Joe’s just happy that the Rays did right by David Price again. Price had total command and is now 16-4 with eight starts remaining.

Bossman, Dirtbag and Zorilla hit bombs, and life is good. Karlos Pena got back on pace for 200 whiffs, as well. There’s nothing normal about this team.

JoeMahism showing the power of the word “revenge”…
Big ups to the best pitcher in baseball (King David), Longo’s first dinger since his first act of the 2012 season, everyone else’s bigger then day before’s bats, and another shut down couple of innings for the bullpen…
    Go Rays!, Go away O’s

Agree, this team boggles the mind sometimes!! Something else that also messes w/the mind is the domination the Rays currently have over the Angels in Anaheim – shutting them out for 32 straight innings!!! And, these all happened w/in last 2 months, not when Pujols was in his funk!! Amazing!!! :D

Don’t have Stats…but I’ll bet the Rays have scored more runs in games with Price pitching than any other Pitcher(poor Hellboy)… confidence building in a run away…good to see bats bounce back, lead by MVP ZObrist, tonight will be the confirmation test
