We’ve got a Rays catcher running hard (doesn’t happen often), a pitching masterpiece, and a night off for Honey Badger. We’ve got the highlights you won’t see on SportsCenter…
Lobatron may have oversold the importance of his double. At best, it was a chest-high hit.
If Shields would have had that kinda of start a week ago he would have been gone (and Rays better) maybe hes smarter than he looks (because he doesn’t look all that bright)
If shields pitches well the rest of the year they may get a wild card because Price has been lights out all year and hell boy and Moore pitched well in their last starts.
Really? Rays better w/out Shields, you sound like one of those Bahstun fans that like to have something to complain about. I mean, you never had a bad days at work where you probably could of done things differently, I thought so…
Go Rays!
Moving the A’s is complicated by the territorial rights of the SF Giants — the team can’t just move across the bay to more lucrative sites for that reason. So leaving Oakland could well mean leaving the region.
But don’t assume that Oakland gets a pass from the MLB — their situation is generally seen as even more problematic that our Bay area’s.
Well, good bye July, we’re now undefeated in the month of August, big up’s to “complete game” James, and I would like to say the same to the batters, but that’s the way we should be batting. Let’s finish the K’s, I mean A’s off, and come back home only 1-1/2 out w/ 57 to go, and the easiest month of opponents of the season ahead of us…

Only 15,000 tickets sold in Oakland. A lot less in seats. Why don’t we here Bud ” douche bag” Selig complaining? Isn’t it ironic his initials are B.S.
actually, Bud complains about Oakland constantly. For example: http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/7834343/bud-selig-says-oakland-tampa-bay-rays-get-new-ballparks.

Gee, I wonder if it’s in their heads in reality. Shields was incredible and Upton had some great AB’s
