If Shields would have had that kinda of start a week ago he would have been gone (and Rays better) maybe hes smarter than he looks (because he doesn’t look all that bright)
If shields pitches well the rest of the year they may get a wild card because Price has been lights out all year and hell boy and Moore pitched well in their last starts.
Now if Longo can come back ….
Really? Rays better w/out Shields, you sound like one of those Bahstun fans that like to have something to complain about. I mean, you never had a bad days at work where you probably could of done things differently, I thought so…

Only 15,000 tickets sold in Oakland. A lot less in seats. Why don’t we here Bud ” douche bag” Selig complaining? Isn’t it ironic his initials are B.S.

Moving the A’s is complicated by the territorial rights of the SF Giants — the team can’t just move across the bay to more lucrative sites for that reason. So leaving Oakland could well mean leaving the region.
But don’t assume that Oakland gets a pass from the MLB — their situation is generally seen as even more problematic that our Bay area’s.
