[Update] Hernandez is now perfect through eight. I need a drink.

[Update] Hernandez is now perfect through seven. Let’s try something else…

[Update] Hernandez is now perfect through six. And pitch count will most certainly not be an issue as he has only needed 69 pitches so far.

[Earlier] No team has been no-hit more times since the start of the 2009 season than the Tampa Bay Rays who have done it three times. In fact, no other team has been no-hit three times in the past decade.

And the Rays are in danger of adding a fourth today as Felix Hernandez has retired the first 12 batters he has faced.

So at the request of a couple of readers, let’s hope this serves as the official jinx.

I dont think we'd be able to properly apply the Jinx. You would have had to hook up with the Mariners equivalent of this site and have them get all pumped about the no-hitter/perfecto to get the jinx. Sadly, they weren't going to help us out at all.
