Joe is back with his post-game thoughts….

Jose Molina stole a base! You just knew it was going to be a special day after that minor miracle.

Joe’s going to put aside the prevalent doom and gloom for a day and just savor today’s 6-0 win and series-salvager against the Indians.

It seems every year, or every other year, there’s a starter in the big leagues that has one of those truly special seasons. And while David Price isn’t quite there yet, he’s clearly another half step closer after seven innnings of two-hit ball and his league-leading 13th win.

Maybe Luke Scott really has turned a corner after an incredible series and raising his average 25 points over the past five games?

Maybe B.J. Upton has found some magic in the leadoff spot?

Maybe this was the last we’ll see of Hideki Matsui?

Maybe the Rays sweep the sorry Mariners this weekend?

Today’s a good day to dream.

Hellickson is wondering if the offense could ever score 6 runs for him??
As long as Rays pitching (Price) holds other team to Zero we’re in…..

My sentiments too. I said to a friend, “If we could just play like this when someone, anyone, not named Price is pitching”. 1 or 2 wins out of 5 is not going to cut it. But definitely some positive signs. For now, I’ll settle for a 2 game win streak. We’ll think about what to expect after that on Saturday morning.
