Is there a record for longest DL for a muscle tear? Seems like we have to be coming up on one.
Awesome reverse jynx might of happened here. Evan may actually go back on a rehab assignment during the West Coast trip so early August and as far as I know, he would return as a 3B, not a DH.
I had a thought. Instead of spending time in Cabo, Longoria should be at the trop signing autographs for an hour before every game. If he can’t play, the Rays ought to at least use him to get fans into the stadium. He needs to be the ambassador of this team. FO is terrible at marketing. Then again, he might pull a tricep if he signs too many autographs.
