Your Cork Board doesn’t have Hellickson on the DL and Archer is still in Durham.
Beckham is supposed to start today in Durham. Complicated.
Every season Shields is proclaimed the ace of this staff he sh*ts the bed. Giving up a HR to Juan PIerre in that situation is inexcusable. Pierre has 16 HRs in over 7000 career ABs, averaging 1.2 HRs/season. I have more confidence in Archer than Shields at this point.
Oh, and Matsui needs to go. He can’t hit, he can’t run and he can’t play defense.
By the way, that was Pierre’s first 3-run HR in his 12 year career.
