Manny Ramirez asked for and was granted his release from the Oakland A’s. Considering the Rays need for right-handed bats, is there any chance Andrew Friedman will look to add Manny?
Manny had shown some positive signs in triple-A. He was hitting .302 in 63 at bats and a .348 OBP. But he had 17 strikeouts, just 5 walks and not a single home run. If there wasn’t hope of Evan Longoria returning in a few days, we might… Wait. Stop. No. Not happenin’…THAT’S A CLOWN QUESTION BRO
