Playing A Little Pepper

Bobby Valentine on the Rays coaches during last night’s scrum: “They seemed very immature and out of control. Coaches are supposed to stop those things.” Is he really this dumb?

Well, we can show him the tape. Tom Foley and George Hendrick were certainly in the middle of things. But no coach was more aggressive than former Rays assistant Tim Bogar. If you go back and watch the video, Bogar can be seen screaming at Luke Scott, shoving Jose Molina, and trying to get at Sean Rodriguez. Meanwhile, Bobby Valentine can be seen being restrained from going after Foley and Hendrick. So it’s not like Bobby V. was trying hard to “stop this thing”…HE’S AN IDIOT. A GRADE A IDIOT.

  1. Don says:

WHO of you used to say you wish the Rays were in a different Division, so they would have an easier time winning????????
Well sit back and enjoy the AL east baseball and quit wishing...

  2. Andrew says:

Bobby Valentine is a chump. He should have been fined for obviously ordering his pitcher to hit Scott in yesterday's game. I don't think "the ghosts of Fenway" had anything to do with it.

  3. Josh says:

I agree with Andrew, there should have been suspensions or fines for the actions of Valentine and his pitcher. Its not the first player he has hit in the last week.

  4. That was one of the most obvious called hits I've seen in a while. And Morales trying to deny it after was garbage as well. Last place, Boston. Stay there, bitch!
