Cork, I love these slideshows, but you’ve got to figure out how to make it so that it doesn’t have to re-load the entire page for each picture.

It just makes it brutal to see them all, so much that I usually give up before the end.

also, as a regular visitor and commenter around these parts, and in full disclosure, that fan was in fact… my father… and my little league baseball coach… X-\

About the four letter network desire to show Sox fans…

Can we now put to rest the myth of a ‘Red Sox Nation’?

The Sox are not good this year. Where were the Sox fans last night?

Historically the Trop is full when the Yankees, and Sox come to town. Why did they not show up last night?

Just further proof that every fan likes a winner, regardless of what town you live in or ‘storied’ history of the franchise.

The Sox mistook this country’s admiration for finally getting the monkey off their back and winning a championship after decades of futility as a sign that everybody LOVES the Sox.

Just like the Cubbies, when/if they finally win it again, we will all cheer for them. It doesn’t mean we are Cub fans or a ‘Cubs nation’.

I agree — used to be that both Yankees and Red Sox games at the Trop felt like the Rays were the visiting team.

In recent years you see fewer fans of those teams, at least from my vantage point. The good thing is that the Rays now feel like the home team. The bad thing is that these are no longer automatic sell outs, and I had always liked the idea that when Sox fans bought $8 beers they were paying for David Price’s contract extension.
