Playing A Little Pepper

We all know Matt Moore has great stuff, but he isn’t dominating hitters. Should we be worried?

Moore averages 95 mph with his fastball, and a whopping 10-13 inches of horizontal movement. But if there is something to worry about, it is that 10+ inches of natural movement on the fastball is like what ultimately it doomed Victor Zambrano because he couldn’t control the movement. Of course, Moore is not Zambrano, and Moore can control his movement for the most part. But we do wonder if ultimately he needs to take 2-3 mph off of his fastball to gain more pinpoint control. It will be interesting to see. In the meantime…NO WORRIES MATE, JUST GROWING PAINS
