Wade Davis and his wife Katelyn have teamed with Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis of the Lightning to help raise money and awareness to fight childhood cancer. And in doing so, Big Dub is going to shave his head bald for opening day.

You can find all the information on Cut for a Cure, where Davis’ goal is to help raise $10,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Unfortunately, this comes on the same weekend that Joe Maddon called for the Rays to let their hair go. Then again, shaving one’s head bald, could fit with the radical hair idea. Just in the opposite direction.

But now we have a dilemma. Do we shave our head in support of Davis, his wife and the kids (our initial reaction)? Or do we let our hair go all season with the rest of the Rays? We’re torn.

Easy. Shave your whole head to start the season (including eyebrows) and just let everything grow all year long.

  2. I can’t do either, I’m ugly bad and ugly when I let my hair grow out, and my looks is all I got going for me :(

  3. Go bald and put an afro on when you want. Problem solved.

Grow out until the season’s over, and when it’s long enough donate your hair for cancer patient wigs.
